I blew Jon Stewart’s mind

I got to chat with the great Jon Stewart recently to discuss the state of play here in Iowa. Some of the facts I shared had Jon’s jaw on the floor (which you can tell from the screengrab above).
Before I share some of the highlights, we’re at the ten-yard line before Election Day. Will you chip in $10 to help me pull off the upset victory that will flip the U.S. Senate?

Jon and I talked about why Iowa — a land of corn fields, hogs, E15, and family farms — is being hurt more by MAGA’s failed agenda than any other state.
We talked about what it means to be a Common-Sense Prairie Populist (emphasis on the common sense) and why that’s connecting with Iowans who usually vote Republican.
We talked about the hollowing-out of Iowa’s rural communities — schools, grocery stores, pharmacies, hospitals, and small businesses closing, jobs disappearing, the American Dream looking more and more like a pipe dream for so many folks.
Then Jon asked me how it’s possible, knowing all of that, that this race is even close.
My answer: Because of Citizens United and the lack of campaign finance reform, which is why MAGA is spending $100 million and counting to attempt to buy this seat for my opponent!*
*And now the RNC is doing its first-EVER ad buy in a Senate race against me right here in Iowa!
I can’t overhaul campaign finance or rebuild the middle class from where I’m currently sitting, no matter how badly I’d like to.
I have to be in the Senate to start chasing those goals, and to get there, I have to flip one of the most expensive toss-up seats in the country. And I have to do it while rejecting ALL corporate PAC money.
So I need you to answer this question: what are you willing to put on the line to win this seat and take this country back?
If $5 sounds right to you, will you invest that into my campaign today?

Gratefully,
Josh Turek
